My hair is blue and purple and I'm wondering what will happen if I put red dye over it.
It should be a redder version of whatever it is now - purple and reddish-purple.
Hi I just died my hair a brown/burgundy color, I like it it just seems a little plain to me. I was thinking of adding a little blonde to my bangs and on one side of my hair. Do you think that would go well together? If not what other colors/ideas would you recommend?? thanks Alyssa =]

Do you think it is possible for someone with naturally dark brown hair, dark eyebrows, and dark brown eyes to be able to pull off ice white hair? Do you know any examples of celebrities or any pictures where such a color doesn't look 'washed out'?
AnonymousSure, it’s all just a matter of personal opinion. The only example that comes to mind is Gwen Stefani- I wouldn’t say she has “dark brown” hair naturally, but she keeps her eyebrows pretty dark and has brown eyes. If you feel that people look washed out with platinum hair though, you probably won’t be happy with it if you have it.

I have naturally medium brown hair, which I know has quite a lot of red pigments in. would I be able to dye it blonde and then have random pieces coloured on the end with blue and pink?and will it last?
You’re probably going to want to bleach it, not dye/color it blonde. I’d recommend getting it done professionally. As far as if it will last… semi-permanent colors are designed to fade a little every time you wash them. here are some tips from my blog on how to make your hair color last
